Hospitality
West Africa is very ideal for Conventions and Conference hosting. West
Africans are peace loving. They are neutral in world conflict and politics. West
African weather is very hospitable so also are its people. Modern centers with
world class equipment and facilities are in place. Hotel accommodations are
relatively cheap so also are the conference and convention sites. Private
transportations are very good; public transportations are fair and security has
been improved. Power is an issue in many West African countries but Standby
Generators are provided for international facilities such as conference centers
and hotels.

Private transportations are very good in many African countries but
public transportations need to be improved. You would be better off with a
private transport arrangement, at least for reliability and safety.
- Domestic Airlines
- There are many domestic airlines in West Africa, especially Nigeria.
However, many of them lack airworthiness . The FAA is cracking down on
identified offenders. In Nigeria, Virgin Nigeria seems to be the domestic
airline of choice. It's price is affordable too.
- International Airlines
- Most international airlines fly Nigeria major airports, including Lagos,
Abuja, Port Harcourt and Kano. These major International Airlines include
KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, British Airways, Virgin Nigeria, Delta Airline,

West Africa is in the race to catch up with the West in hotels
facilities. Many international hotels such as Hilton,
La Meridien, Sheraton and Western are finding homes in West Africa. Five
star facilities are provided; power generators are in place and security has
greatly improved. Above all, price is very competitive and West African food
is always delicious.

Convention facilities in West Africa have improved greatly in the
last 10 years. West Africa can boast of world class convention centers
similar to what is obtainable in USA, Germany and France.
